● Aston
Martin was founded in 1914 by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford. The
company name was derived from Aston Hill and Lionel Martin.

1968 - Aston Martin DBS Vantage.
●
1986 - Ford Motor Company purchased 75% of Aston Martin.
●
1992 - Aston Martin Vantage was announced and the next year Aston
Martin renewed the DB range by introducing the DB7.
●
1993 - Ford bought Aston Martin into it's Ford Premier Automotive
Group.
●
1995 - Produced a record number of 700 vehicles.
●
1999 - Aston Martin DB7 range was supplemented with the addition of
Aston Martin V12 Vantage models
●
2001 - Aston Martin introduced the V12-engine Aston Martin Vanquish.
●
2004 - Aston Martin DB9 Volante (convertible version of DB9) was
introduced at Detroit Auto Show.
Assuming to contain a few modifications before its debut in 2005,
the new Aston Martin AMV8 Vantage brings back the classic V8 engine
and will allow Aston Martin to compete in a bigger market place.
