Holden Rodeo Dual Cab Review Overview Like other large vehicles, it is difficult to park (easier with an empty tray, but still not easy). There are fifty-six variations of the Rodeo. The most popular model, the Holden Rodeo 4x2 Crew Cab Pick Up LX, is valued at $29,990. Like many trucks and other utility vehicles, the fuel efficiency was not the best. If you are looking for a smooth ride, a top of the line stereo system, vast options for the vehicle interior, or a vehicle that will take you on a summer family vacation, the Rodeo is not for you. Details Now I am not a workman in a field that requires me to transport goods frequently, but the Rodeo is obviously meant to be a vehicle used by workmen for transporting. One of the most impressive parts of the interior was the easy-to-clean floor interior, completely made from plastic. Besides the plastic flooring and your basic temperature and music controls, there isn’t much more to the interior. For those people who frequently jump in the truck with muddy boots, that is a definite plus! However, it is definitely not made for smooth and easy driving. Some have said that it is awkward to drive and has flaky brakes. For an extra $1,000 you can get Antilock Brake Systems (ABS) brakes, which didn’t seem to help matters to that much of a degree-it took a great deal of pressure to activate the ABS. Like other large vehicles, it is difficult to park-easier with an empty tray, but still not easy. There also seemed to be some annoying noises in the inside, although both can be prevented to some degree. It can get quite noisy in the cabin from the engine noise, but that can be absolved by keeping revving to a minimum. In addition, if a passenger chooses not to wear their seatbelt, they will have a constant reminder to put them on-the seatbelt hitting the door panels as you ride down the road! Nevertheless, if you want a durable and long-lasting truck, the Rodeo is your pick. The Rodeo is not just dependable, but it easily participates when it is time to have fun! Many of my friends enjoy frequent mud riding, and for this task, the Rodeo will do just the trick since it has a locked differential!
At first glance, one might think that the Holden Rodeo was just your typical boring “haul-your-tools-in-the-back” vehicle-but it can actually be used for much more than that. While the size is plentiful for passengers in the front and back seat, there is also an abundance of room in the back for transporting goods to and from locations. The tray/bed of the truck is easy to access, by simply pulling the lever and letting down the rear tray-unfortunately, it is easy to access both when the truck is locked and unlocked. If you are looking to haul materials in the back and keep them there for an extended amount of time, you might consider getting a cover of some sort that can ensure that your things are not stolen. Not only is there plenty of space in the tray/bed of the truck, but your passengers in the backseat will have a decent amount of room as well. However, like most trucks the bench seat is a little uncomfortable for long rides, so it would not be preferred for a cross-country trip. On the other hand, it would be perfectly adequate to move across town with a full load in the back and the front full of passengers! Like most high-riding utility vehicles, the Rodeo is at its best when it is hauling goods on a stretch without a lot of turns, but it does seem to handle better around corners when there is more weight put in it. There are fifty-six variations of the Rodeo. Twenty-three of those options are 4WD. The most popular model, the Holden Rodeo 4x2 Crew Cab Pick Up LX, is valued at $29,990. That price is without any other additions that you might want to make to the truck. The price is definitely worth it when you think about how many people the Crew Cab can carry around and how much stuff you can haul in the back. Like many trucks and other utility vehicles, the fuel efficiency was not the best. It did not take long at all for the gas gauge to drain from Full to Empty. It stayed at around 15L/100KM, but you can partake in the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) systems, which is both environmentally and financially friendly! If you are looking for a smooth ride, a top of the line stereo system, vast options for the vehicle interior, or a vehicle that will take you on a summer family vacation, the Rodeo is not for you. If you want a reliable vehicle that will take you anywhere you need to go, but is perfect for heavy-duty transporting of materials, tools, or other gear, it is right up your alley! While the Rodeo doesn’t have the bells and whistles that may come in other vehicles, this can also work in your favor, since these features can often malfunction. |
