Hyundai Sonata V6 Car Review

Overview

For $29,990, you can buy a new Hyundai Sonata V6. While the older Hyundai cars did not look like they were worth the price tag, this has changed with the new Hyundai line. The Hyundai Sonata V6 resembles all of the cars in its class, giving it an equal place alongside its competitors. Sometimes automatic transmissions have trouble shifting into gears, particularly higher gears. For $29,990, you can buy a new Hyundai Sonata V6. Though the outside is nothing new, it is still visually appealing. While having many of the same characteristics of other cars in this particular genre of cars, it still manages to update and improve the look of older Hyundai vehicles. While the older Hyundai cars did not look like they were worth the price tag, this has changed with the new Hyundai line. The Hyundai Sonata V6 resembles all of the cars in its class, giving it an equal place alongside its competitors.

In the past, I've only known one thing about Hyundai: low prices and mediocre vehicles. Hyundai just hasn't been known in the past as one of the top sellers of vehicles. However, Hyundai has made recent developments in efforts to rid themselves of this reputation and bring in more buyers that are looking for classy-type vehicles at a good price. It has made large strides to become one of the frequently mentioned cars in surveys, and has succeeded, recently being compared alongside Lexus in reliability. In addition, Hyundai added many features to the Sonata V6 that make it appealing because of its safety.

Under the hood you will find a 3.3Ltr V-6 engine. The car has a five-speed automatic transmission, which in some cases could be a downfall in shifting. Sometimes automatic transmission have trouble shifting into gears, particularly higher gears. This is not the case with the Sonata V-6. The transmission does a great job at shifting on its own. Unfortunately, the same thing cannot be said for all aspects of its driving. The suspension is not the best and there tend to be problems with understeering quite frequently. Luckily, the Sonata comes equipped with the Electronic Stability Program, which can help autocorrect driving problems. A driver should not rely on the ESP program for driving, though, since it can sometimes malfunction. This particular feature is optional, and the driver can turn it on and off by simply pushing a button.

With a five-star safety rating and a 5-year/130,000KM warranty, the Hyundai Sonata V6 is a fantastic option for a buyer. There are many cars in the same class as this car that have similar features and charge a great deal more than the Hyundai. With an aesthetically pleasing exterior, equipped interior, and pleasant driving experience, it is well worth the price tag.

The interior of the car will impress you immediately. It is an obviously quality build, and all gadgets and controls in the vehicle are conveniently placed and easy for both the driver and all passengers to access. The standard options in the vehicle include front, side, and curtain airbags, cruise control, electric windows and locks, halogen headlights, and Active Headrests. The halogen headlights were good, but could be improved, as it was not that easy to distinguish between low and high beams. The car has a good CD player with nice sound and basic temperature controls, complete with a pollen filter. One of the things that I particularly like about the Sonata V-6 are the controls on the steering wheel. Whether you are driving within city limits, off-road or going on a road trip, everyone in the vehicle will be comfortable in the seats. The ride is very smooth, and there is not much road noise inside the car. If you are taking a trip, you can look forward to successful results. The Sonata has five seats, but four passengers will ride comfortably for the long haul. Since the trunk has such an abundance of space, there will be no problem fitting all luggage and gear for the trip. Money will also be saved on gas, as the car has a decent fuel efficiency of 10.1L/100KM
