Mitsubishi Evo 8 Overview Unlike some sports cars, the Evo 8 has seats that make you feel comfortable and secure no matter what type of driving is being done. On road trips, front seat passengers will be perfectly comfortable, even riding for a long period of time. At first glance, it is easy to see that the Mitsubishi Evo 8 is a sporty, sleek looking car. If you are looking for a car with a little pep in its step, this is the car for you. Unfortunately if you accelerate the car to a decent speed, then no matter how well you can drive the car, it might rev a little longer than you would like, making you look like you are inexperienced no matter how many times you have driven your car. When it comes to driving the Evo 8, you will absolutely be pleasantly surprised. Despite the lack of the sixth gear, the car is still quite fuel efficient on highway drives. In addition, it drives quite well on both straight stretches and around multiple curves-it hugs them like a pro without even squealing the tires, which makes it a fun car to drive! While brakes in other cars tend to get longer and longer in stopping distances, the Evo 8 continues to stay strong with short stopping distances. Details If you can get past the outside aesthetics of the car and sit down inside, you will be immediately engulfed in comfort. Unlike some sports cars, the Evo 8 has seats that make you feel comfortable and secure not matter what type of driving is being done. If you are hugging curves, the seats keep you locked tight in place and make you feel safe and secure. However, other than the comfortable seats, the rest of the interior does not live up to most of the other $60,000 cars in the same class as the Mitsubishi Evo 8. There just is not anything to write home about. Not only does it not have cruise control, which in my opinion, every $60,000 car should have, but the audio controls are not well placed and look awkward. Luckily, the lack of good placement of the controls does not affect the quality of the sound system, which is one of the more impressive things in the interior of the vehicle.

If you are going on a road trip in this vehicle, you will not be disappointed with the fuel efficiency of approximately 10.38L/100KM. This is especially impressive considering the size of the vehicle. On road trips, front seat passengers will be perfectly comfortable, even riding for a long period of time. However, backseat space is not as abundant and carrying adult backseat passengers should be limited to shorter treks. They would most likely feel cramped if they rode in the backseat for a long period of time. There is not that much space for luggage in the back, so it may be better to let someone else do the transporting of stuff, and you can come along to offer a nice ride! That's one thing that is definitely not lacking in this vehicle!
At first glance, it is easy to see that the Mitsubishi Evo 8 is a sporty, sleek looking car. If you are looking for a car with a little pep in its step, this is the car for you. Going from 0-100 KM/H in less than six seconds is pretty impressive, and this car can do it with ease, and will love every minute of it. Pulling up to a red light and revving the engine will most definitely attract some attention for more reasons than one. Not many people have the Mitsubishi Evo 8, and once they see how fast it will jump when the light turns green, there is no helping staring. You have three choices when it comes to driving: Tarmac, Gravel, and Snow. With a 2.0 Liter engine and a five speed manual transmission, the car is easy, user friendly and on point with shifting. One thing that has been frequently complained about is the lack of space for foot movement if you have a larger foot. It has quite an impressive get up and go factor, although it could be even better if it had a sixth gear. Despite the lack of the sixth gear, the car is still quite fuel efficient on highway drives. In addition, it drives quite well on both straight stretches and around multiple curves-it hugs them like a pro without even squealing the tires, which makes it a fun car to drive! If there does happen to be a loss of control or oversteering incident, the car is equipped with a system that corrects problems such as these. One of the things I think is very cool with the Gravel setting is that you can maneuver on gravel roads without being led into the trenches that heavily traveled roads may have. The brakes on the vehicle are also quite efficient, and do not tend to show any wear after intense levels of driving. While brakes in other cars tend to get longer and longer in stopping distances, the Evo 8 continues to stay strong with short stopping distances. It also has a feature that will spray a mist of water air spray onto the intercooler, which really does not make that significant of a difference. Keep in mind that the rather inconveniently positioned spoiler is a pain in the neck for many reasons. Whether it is hindering your view when reversing the vehicle or flashing lights in your eyes when driving at night, it almost is not worth having. In conclusion, there is not much you can do to go wrong with the Evo 8. Even though the interior is not worth the $60,000 price tag it has, the exterior will impress almost everyone around you while providing you with excellent drives nearly everywhere you go. If you are looking for a car that has a lot of room for backseat passengers, offers a dependable drive to and from work each day, or will provide a lot of trunk transportation space, you need to look elsewhere. However, if you have $60,000 to shell out for a fun, sporty car that looks and functions well for sport, look no further. There may be other options in the price range, but the Evo 8 is at least worth the look. |
