Mitsubishi Magna TJ V6 Review Overview The car handles well otherwise, rides smoothly over rough bumps and uneven patches. The vehicle has some strange problems. The interior is slightly more roomy than a Honda Accord but mostly indistinguishable. The Magna is pleasantly fun to drive. It has well designed front seats and a comfortable interior. The engine is responsive and powerful while retaining acceptable fuel economy. The instrument panel is ergonomic and has the standard door ajar and low fuel warning lights. Fuel economy was suprisingly average for city driving. Details The road handling required some getting used to, as the steering has more play than most Japanese imports. The tracking is more in line with the somewhat sloppy handling found in American built luxury sedans, most of which have oversteering. Even though there are two cupholders in the centre console only 1 is accessible when not closed. The vehicle is susceptible to road and engine noise and the interior is not sound dampened as much as other sedans in same category. Thankfully there were no squeaks or rattles. In conclusion, this is a great family car and is well worth considering when searching for a mid-size sedan. However if you can pony up a little extra cash you should certainly consider checking out the Honda Accord first. |
